Genuwine's Vintage Dining

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Genuwine! She ordered the chicken marsala, and the portion was quite generous—way more than she could finish. I chose the Tuscan black salmon, and the aromas were fantastic, with just the right amount of spices. We definitely plan to return!

Everything was fantastic. Both the food and service were outstanding. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the little touches made it even more enjoyable. For instance, they offered sparkling water instead of tap water, provided an Italian ice aperitif, and had hot towels that seemed to appear out of nowhere. They also have an excellent wine list, with many options available by the glass or bottle. Since we were celebrating my birthday, they surprised me with a complimentary dessert.

What an incredible dining experience! This restaurant offers unique aspects that are hard to find elsewhere. The food was of exceptional quality, complemented by a personal touch. It all began with a delightful sorbet served in a bowl filled with liquid nitrogen! I ordered a Caesar salad, shrimp scampi, and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert, all of which were delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and provided a wonderful setting for a date with my wife. We even had the chance to meet the owner, which truly highlighted the family-owned nature of the establishment. It was great to dine at a place where we were treated like family. The drive past all the chain restaurants in Polaris was well worth it!

Great atmosphere with an upscale dinning room and a separate bar area. Large selection of mixed drinks, wine and craft beer. Great service. I didn't have enough of the ducks to check the food.

We have been looking for a relaxing, upscale, adult dining experience since moving to OH 15 yrs. ago, and were pleased that Genuwine's offered that. We had our first dining experience there last night and, starting with the ambiance, were not disappointed in any way. We were told up front by staff that if we had a limited time schedule to please let them know, as this is a much slower dining environment. Food was delicious and well prepared. Very nice presentation on the zucchini appetizer. Salads gave a hint of all ingredients with not one ingredient overpowering another. Entree portions were plentiful. Expect to spend $35 $50 per person, including drinks, appetizer, (dessert? and tip. We did not know about this place before last night, so I have to say that advertising may need to be bumped up until a good clientele base is established and word of mouth takes over. We will definitely be back, bringing others who will appreciate the intimate, vintage dining experience!
