Masseria Serralta - PICERNO

I've booked the accommodation with a breakfast in August for the October. One day before arrival I've sent an email to the owner with the time, when we're going to arrive. As we with a friend of mine arrived by a car, everything was closed. We tried to call the owner, but the phone number in the reservation confirmation was wrong. We found out the correct one and reached him. He told us, that his mother will come in 10 minutes. She arrived by a car and she was speaking only Italian. We were very hungry and asked where we can eat, she called her son for the translation and he said, that his mother will cook, we don't need to go anywhere. The mother showed us with signs, that she needs an hour and left us. We thought, she went to pick up the food, but she went for the the towels and sheets for our room. There's a big restaurant on the territory of the farmhouse and it was closed. After she came back and prepared our room, she opened the restaurant and made warm the leftovers from some party yesterday. It was ok, because we were really very hungry. And of course we paid for it. We communicated with google translator. She didn't want to call her son anymore and we couldn't understand why. After the dinner she gave us the key and left us. She came back for the breakfast. We got for a breakfast a cup of coffee and biscotti. As we asked for something more, she told us, it's a typical Italian breakfast. We were really happy to leave this farmhouse very early morning and we will never come back.

Un agriturismo immerso in una natura incontaminata, gestito da persone accoglienti e disponibili. Consiglio di assaggiare la carne alla griglia e i prodotti locali. Un luogo davvero unico.
