Slim's Soda Sandwich Shop Of Picayune

We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and delicious food at this local restaurant. My kids and I had a great time!

If it weren't for the tomatoes I'd have given a 5 star. They were requested not to be on the nachos.For starters I've never been inside, I received a to go order, the wife brought home the food. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ nachos. First time ordering from there.But holy gracious. That was amazing! The meat was juicy and the sauce was sweet, well proportioned. There wasn't one bite that had any real fat. The chips to meat ratio was on point. Now I didn't have them add the salsa but that's because I can't stand tomatoes. The few top chips were kinda soggy but that's because of the juicy meat and being in a container on the way home. The rest of the chips were crisp. The cheese could have been better spread throughout the chips. The lettuce wasn't soggy and the amount complimented the meat and cheese well.In short you can't go wrong with these nachos. I forgot to add, the amount of meat wasn't skimpy either. There was at least 3 good size slabs of meat, the length of the container. Next time I'll take a photo. I definitely will buying from there again. I highly recommend.

This place is truly one of the best food spots in Picayune. While many restaurants in the area are old, outdated, and of poor quality, this place stands out with its high-quality food and great value. It is definitely worth a visit and I will be returning frequently!

I really enjoy Slim's Soup. I recognize that the cost of ingredients has gone up, leading to higher prices. However, $9.99 for a bowl of soup feels a little steep. Despite my love for the soup, I can't justify paying $10 for it. The rest of the menu seems fairly priced, so I'm confused about the high cost of the soup. I hope the price can be lowered soon so I can keep enjoying it!
