New Buffet City - Picayune

My mother and I have been coming to this restaurant since I was 9 years old, and I am now 26. It holds a special place in our hearts, and we truly enjoy the food. Although there have been some ups and downs in the past, the health inspection history has been excellent for the past 10+ years. The waitresses are always attentive and helpful, whether it's just me or with someone else. The sweet tea is one of the best I've had. The food is always fresh, even during busy times. I particularly enjoy the veggies, coconut shrimp, and salty shrimp. The green beans are especially delicious. I wish they were always available, as they were missing the last 2 times I visited. I would have given 5 stars if they had refilled the green beans or given me the recipe. The cream cheese wontons are also fantastic. There are plenty of vegetarian options, including a variety of veggies, rice, noodles, and seafood. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no stairs and has parking available. The service is great, with a dine-in atmosphere. The price per person is between $10-20, and I highly recommend dishes like the Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp with Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice, Shrimp Lo Mein, and Fried Shrimp. Parking is convenient with a free parking lot option.

I reserved a table for 6 people at this restaurant, but one person ended up not eating. When I mentioned this to the waitress, my bill increased from $62 to $72. I spoke to the manager about this and he lowered the bill to $63. The waitress praised the manager for his kindness in doing so. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were all rated as 1 out of 5.

This restaurant is mediocre at best and is not my favorite place. The quality has really declined over time. It used to be decent, but not anymore. The only redeeming quality is the quantity of food, but the quality is lacking in my opinion. The service and atmosphere were also just average. This is based on a dine-in dinner experience with a price range of $20-30 per person. I would give the food and service a rating of 3 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 2 out of 5. The recommended dish is the Black Pepper Chicken.

Past few times we have dined in at 8pm we noticed they start picking up salad and dessert bar at 8:30pm regardless of how many customers are seated. Food is okay. Boiled shrimp is good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
