U Campanile - Piana

One of the cheaper ones in Piana and you will now why. Stuff is friendly and helpful, but the food is very moderate. If you travel on small budget it is worth cosidering, else I'd recommend looking further.

We just stopped there for an ice cream and a drink. we liked the terrace burned by 35degrees!!! and small jars of Corsican ice!

VERY basic menu (this will not be your most memorable meal in France, but not a total disappointment either).

Stopped off in the town driving along the coast and this place looked OK for lunch - set above the town square opposite the church and with some decent views. Looked to have a number of locals eating; certainly mostly French people.Service was a little erratic but quite friendly, food decent without being particularly good and reasonable portions for the price.Nothing great about it but nothing bad either - wouldn't hurry back but wouldn't avoid either.

We ate there one evening in a 5 day visit to Corsica. It was easily the best food we had on Corsica but we were generally disappointed in food on Corsica. At Campanile we had typical Corsican cuisine. The service was good and friendly and the food was tasty and served at an appropriate temperature. The wait for food was neither overly long nor rushed. I would recommend to others.
