Buon Gusto - Phuket

As is common in Italian restaurants, the food at this place is delicious and the service is excellent. However, I would not suggest sitting outside as the heavy traffic can create an unpleasant odor.

After sampling several pizza places in Kata, the TUI guide pointed us to Buon Gusto, where we tried a delicious Tropical and a flavorful Calzone paired with a glass of Merlot. The interior was modern and sleek, and the service was stylish. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

This restaurant in Kata is truly the best place for vegan options. They have a Vegan Specials board and their prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and there is an option for outdoor seating, away from the main road so it's not too noisy. The pizza is fantastic, cooked in a proper pizza oven with vegan cheese! I visited three times for lunch as it was close to my hotel and even tried their Vegan chocolate mousse. They offer a variety of vegan and vegetarian options on their menu, including the option to request vegan cheese on the vegetarian pizza, which I enjoyed twice. The purple gnocchi was also delicious. This restaurant is great for those with mixed dietary preferences as they also offer plenty of meat options. My husband tried the lasagne and Hawaiian pizza and loved both. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here.

Once you visit it’s so difficult not to want to eat at this restaurant every day. Superb menu choices, traditional Italian, good vegetarian and excellent vegan choices. Great management and staff. Food is excellent, you have to taste.

A truly awful meal, starters were bland and mains even worse. The wine was the only positive and staff were ok.
