Yama Sushi House Phoenix

This place is really good. they have a large selection of sushi rolls and sashimi. I ordered a few things. I don't remember everyone. I've made a dine and delivery.

Solid if not spectacular. Reasonable pricing. Decent fish. Yama is a like a 3 star movie. You remember you saw it or ate there but could I tell you the plot ? Would I watch it again? Probably not. But compared to most places in phx pretty good.

Cute little neighborhood sushi joint with delicious fish and good wine as well!! Loved sitting on the patio for some nice sunset views. I've also ordered takeout from here and the rolls are all solid.

We arrived on Sat around 3:15 and we were seated right away. There were a handful of other patrons there at the time and it was Happy Hour. Our server was friendly and brought out our drinks quickly. From the Happy hour menu we got seaweed salad, spicy tuna rolls, and spicy salmon rolls, hot night roll, and Godzilla roll. We also got a shaggy dog roll. We'd go back again for the happy hour and the prices for what you get. Everything tasted fresh. They all came out quickly. Service was great. It seemed clean. Music was a little loud but not annoying, we definitely could have a conversation without yelling. We were very satisfied and would return!

I'm not a sushi fan, but was invited by friends who liked it ok, some of him seemed pretty chewy and this person didn't cost it! I have the Japanese curry seafood udon (muscles were very chewy and tough - i.e. never had snuggles that were so? shrimp was pretty good. too much nude for me. Oh, good. it is a very small place, not large ambiente or comfortable, but there is a terrace that has more sitting opportunities. bathroom are unisex. parking is very hard and very tight to get in / from the parking space of central! try it out.
