Smashburger - Phoenix

I had a wonderful experience at Smashburger. We both ordered grilled chicken burgers, and I topped mine with American cheese, bacon, pickles, lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo (though they forgot the mayo). We also ordered a large serving of smash fries to share, with ranch dressing, which was also overlooked. The service was quick, and the restaurant was clean. Fortunately, the on-duty manager was able to provide us with the ranch sauce. I'm not sure how they managed to forget a couple of items, but aside from that, it was a great visit. The food was hot, cooked to perfection, and tasted fantastic!

I visit this restaurant often, and I have to say that I always enjoy my meals here. I’m a huge fan of Smashburger! Although I don't eat burgers, that's perfectly fine because they offer a range of options, from chicken and turkey to vegetarian dishes, catering to various dietary preferences. My favorite choice is the build-your-own option, where I can select my favorite toppings. The appetizers are also delicious, and what I appreciate most is the wide variety of fast food options available. The fried pickles are the best I’ve ever had, and the small fries are seasoned just right. This location is quite busy, situated in an outdoor strip mall, but I’ve never had to wait long, and the service is always friendly.

As for the food, I ordered a hamburger with bacon, but there was no bacon on it. What a letdown! After getting home, I tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered. With so many employees present, it’s surprising that no one picked up the phone. This lack of customer focus is quite disheartening. In these times, when we are selective about where we choose to dine, one would expect better service and order accuracy. I was deeply disappointed.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. That 's what I get for not consulting Yelp before trying out a new place frankly busy Hangry... The seating inside is a smidge above fast food restaurant, but I guess this is a fast food place I didn 't realize that before coming. Very basic menu EVERYTHING is A La Carte, even though the handheld menu states make any meal a combo . We asked the server (new employee), he had to ask two others the answer was......... I don 't know why it says that, we don 't offer combos . ??????? Should have walked away... Ordered; classic smash, tots, Arizona smash(double meat), Oreo shake. Both burgers were TINY, tots were the ones you get in the frozen section the store (nothing special), smash fries were good, Oreo shake, well it 's difficult to make a bread shake but...... they did! The shake was not mixed well, very thick in the glass milk in the extra cup. The burgers are very salty SMALL. The few tables that had been used were not clean. The employees are nice smile, but the place is OVERPRICED.

Smashburger wasn't that great. We ordered the Arizona burger with fries and Brussels sprouts and a kids meal chicken tenders. The Brussels sprouts has no flavor. It was awful that we threw it away. The fries were ok- McDonalds probably has better fries. The burger was not bad, not great either. Although, it had some flavor. The chicken tenders were awful too. For over $20, it was a big disappointment. The restaurant had cleanliness issues while there were a few employees sitting on one of the booths during their break, I guess. I would probably never come back.
