Sakana Sushi Grill - Phoenix

I usually go to another place on Indian bend hayden. alway have an excellent service and a good size of sushi. here I ordered two rolls, both were ok, 3 . bloodorange roll size was too small and the salmon on the top of the roll was paper thin. the second las vegas roll was even worse. the pieces were very small and had nothing but tears in it. Moreover, they didn't want to sit 2 people on 4 seats, although they had made many of them available when we came. I think that's ridiculous!

Sakana is the best in the valley for fresh fish at a reasonable price. their portions are large, eating is delicious, and the prices are great. add them to this great service and it is not a dose missed!

I ordered my sushi to go since I was in the lunch break. the host or cashier was not very friendly and he seemed irritated to go through my order. the sushi was delicious and the gyozas well paired with the sweet and acidic sauce. the only thing I would change is to have a bigger garnel in sushi. seems to mix more crumbs than garnel. in total will return. the honey habanero sauce loved.

I ordered the hot edamame, alaska roll and blood orange roll. the edamame floated in the ground in hotter sauce and the rolls were rolled so loose that they fell apart each time when I tried to pick up one. I almost asked for a fork instead of trying to eat it at a time. taste was good on blood orange, not big on alaska.

Ok I get it AZ is hard to do good sushi and in a dire search for food before a movie I saw this had decent reviews so since I was already craving sushi we decided to risk it!! Well totally worth the risk the night was a little slow but in the end totally with every last bite!! This has officially been added to our finally a good sushi place to go. Great job everyone tonight it was delicious!!
