Although we had looked at what appeared an enticing menu online, they change the menu daily, a little deceptive no? We heard wonderful things about this place and were anxious to try it. We were seated promptly and met with cold bread and literally sink water. 4 of us ordered drinks yep 10-13 bucks for a glass of wine, not unheard of but c'mon. The salads were saturated with dressing, runny avant garde red lettuce and not good. We anticipated the main course would turn it around. Waitress took way TOO LONG to check on us. Dinners finally arrived, I had a pasta dish, terrible, Too Small Of Portions, Overseasoned, Over Spicy, And Again The Size A 2 Year Old Would Eat. Everyone Else Felt Same Way, Too Small Portions Lousy. They Ran Out Of Desert And Served Last Minute Cotton Candy? We've dined at 5 star Italian restaurants all over, NYC, Chicago, LA and abroad. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!! When we finished I asked where the owner was, the place had cleared out by this time with only 2 other tables around. He didn't have the common courtesy, or class to walk around check on customers, ask how it was, nothing. One of our guests is an editor with a restaurant review magazine, I wonder what they will write about, or if they will even waste ink on printing it. HORRIBLE place, cold overcooked pasta, how can you mess up pasta? Basically an LA wanna be backdrop atmosphere that destroyed Italian dishes with their own flair. An insult to Italian food. It was 50 bucks a person, no make that 60 because I went to a burger place around they corner when we left as I was so hungry upon leaving.
