We visited this place a few years ago and absolutely loved the service and the food. The gentleman who I assume runs the establishment is incredibly sweet—caring and helpful. Their baklava is the best! Even though we now live two hours away, we still make the drive just for the baklava and the rosewater lemonade.

We enjoyed some incredible pastries and authentic Turkish coffee. The experience was truly genuine, and the service was outstanding.

This is hands down the best Mediterranean food and hospitality in the Valley of the Sun! As soon as you step through the door, you leave the outside world behind and enter a space that feels like the warm kitchen of your family, overflowing with love and delicious food. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and simply amazing! I can't recommend everything on the menu highly enough; there's truly not a single item I wouldn't suggest! My personal favorites are the falafels and the lemonade, but honestly, I could rave about the entire menu! Isam, the owner, truly embodies the heart and soul of this establishment, along with his incredible team. You can taste the love in every dish. This place is undoubtedly a hidden gem in the Valley of the Sun!

Baklava: Sweet/not too sweet, SO moist and full of honey. Shawarma: Even just its scent is satisfying. Hummus: So friggin' delicious. Falafel: Flavorful and crispy. Salad: Fresh, bright, and delicious. Lemonade: You can taste the subtle hint of rose water, and the mellow sweetness of agave. It's the best lemonade I've ever had (and the rest of Phoenix agrees! Price: Affordable and is followed with large portions. Isam: Gentle, friendly, and genuine. I braved 16th st. during rush hour (something I try to avoid and every second was worth it.

I have been going to the Middle Eastern Bakery since I was a child. They have always been our go-to place for our Toubuli and grape leaves so we can make my great-grandma's sarma. The Owners and employees are the sweetest people, always greeting you with a smile on their face. I love the Middle Eastern Bakery! They are the best!
