Golden Margarita - Phoenix

I would not recommend eating at this restaurant. The food is likely spoiled, as I experienced firsthand last night. I woke up with a stomach flu after eating a burger and wings here. The wings were rubbery and seemed to have been sitting out, waiting to be recooked. The burger was burnt and unappetizing. My server was only 19 years old and asked me to buy her a drink. When I requested a manager, the shot I received was watered down vodka. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dim and unwelcoming, with frequent altercations occurring. Even on a weekday night, the music was incredibly loud. It seems like no one wants to be there. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is great. I stopped by for a beer after work with a friend. To be honest, my friend had already had a few beers before we arrived. I only had half a can, but once we got there and he finished his first beer, they tried to cut him off. I explained that it was his first beer and that I would be driving him home, so they left us alone. However, the mood was already ruined, so we ended up leaving. I wish we had more time to enjoy the place! The restaurant has open bay windows, so you can still access the bartender if you hang outside. The bartender is bilingual, which is helpful. Parking is difficult, with paid street parking or a small parking lot with about 20 spots. The other side is reserved for residents of the apartments next door. The location is amazing and feels like downtown when you're there. Overall, it's worth checking out. The food menu is small but basic, and will definitely help soak up the alcohol. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $7 to $27, with nothing over $30. We only had tap beer, and didn't take many photos due to lack of time, but you'll get the idea!

It's no surprise that this place was empty on Cinco de Mayo. We were looking for a restaurant with good music, Mexican food, and margaritas. We made the mistake of sitting at the bar, where both bartenders (one of them in training) were very inattentive. Our margaritas were served in plastic cups, which was disappointing. After our first drink, we struggled to get their attention for another round. We had to raise our voices just to be noticed. We also had to wait a long time to order food, which was brought out separately with long intervals in between. The quesadillas we ordered were forgotten at first, and when they finally arrived, the food tasted like it was frozen. The drinks were also watered down. Overall, it was a horrible experience and we won't be returning. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. This place is empty for a reason. Run away!

Feeling TOTALLY ripped off!A girlfriend and I stopped in today (Sunday, mid afternoon) to grab a couple margaritas.$78 for 2 margaritas that we left full (nothing but sugar) and 2 Don Julio shots (which we did promptly drink to get the kick that the margaritas clearly would not). Our waitress was attentive and sweet so I tipped her, but I do not recommend.
