Einstein Bros Bagels - Phoenix

I had a disappointing visit to Einstein Bros. This time. I felt that the downtown Tempe location skimped on the cream cheese, possibly due to the nearby ASU student population. Even the airport locations offer more generous portions. I found the experience to be overpriced, especially considering there was no option to opt out of tipping when ordering takeout. I could have easily purchased a similar bagel from Fry's at a lower cost and received a larger quantity of organic cheese. I regret spending over $5 for what I received at Einstein Bros today.

I entered the restaurant looking to order a bagel, but despite there only being 5 people in the store at 9:30 AM on a Saturday, the employee informed me that I would have to wait 30 minutes due to a large number of online orders. It's disappointing that in-person customers were not given priority. As a result, I made the decision to leave and instead went to The Nosh. I was happy with my choice.

I attempted to call and place a pre-order for a dozen bagels over the course of two days, but no one ever answered the phone. Unfortunately, the cranberry bagels that I wanted were not available online. I had to drive from Casa Grande, and if I don't order ahead of time, they are always sold out. This was a very disappointing experience.

Dirty tables everywhere. Out of almost everything. And poor customer service. I'm sorry but without that salmon spread. This place and brand are nothing special. Never really where but this place sealed it. Head to Fry's. To the owner that commented I told you what was wrong. Right above. Use your eyes.

I went to get breakfast thinking it would be the typical 10 to 15 min. wait. 45 min. later it was ready. It?s really frustrating when you are not expecting the wait. I wish they would have told me when I ordered that it would be that long. Other customers were pretty frustrated as well. I had the choice to leave but I was annoyed because I had already waited that long. It only got 1 star because the food was good they were friendly.
