Chipotle Mexican Grill - Phoenix

I really enjoy Chipotle, and I want to give a shoutout to two of the employees who handled the busy crowd exceptionally well—they did a fantastic job! However, I wasn't pleased with the guacamole. I took a bite and found a piece of avocado that still had part of the pit and skin attached. I initially thought that was the only issue, but I ended up finding several more pieces of tough skin. Aside from that, I loved everything else!

I visited this restaurant with my daughter so she could try the soyfritas. The staff were welcoming, and we even witnessed a touching moment between a grandfather and his granddaughter meeting for the first time. The atmosphere was friendly, and we were fortunate to find plenty of parking. Unfortunately, they were out of juice extractors, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for burritos or bowls.

The initial customer service was quite disappointing. I was served a bowl of cold food, which I found unacceptable. The only items I requested to be cold were the lettuce, tomato, and cheese, yet the beans, rice, and meat were also cold. The chicken was overcooked, and the steak was fatty with no lean cuts, although it did have a good flavor. I really enjoy the chips when they’re fresh. I might consider giving this location another chance in the future, but not in the immediate future.

I did not give this location five stars for two reasons... The staff was not friendly in fact they seemed a little annoyed that we were there. This is my third visit to this location and for some reason it's always the same. The other reason I did not give them five stars is the amount of food you get... It's bad enough they've raised the prices due to inflation but now they're giving smaller servings. I ordered the same thing and it most Chipotle's give me 1 and 1/2 to 1 and 1/4 scoops of chicken in my chicken bowl. Every time I go to this location I get a little over half to 3/4 of a scoop. Just a pinch of cheese maybe a teaspoon worth and a sprinkle of lettuce. The last two times I've asked for a little more cheese the young ladies actually seemed annoyed as if I was at their house and they were having to share their food with me. I believe this will be the last time we ever visit this location. Strike 3, you're out.

Service is great, price is good as well but I went today 11/27/2022 around 6pm and ordered take out; a bowl with white rice and the rice was way too salty I can?t taste anything but salt. I?ve previously ordered a quesadilla and the chicken was too salty as well. I?ve made my family try the bowl so they can let me know if it?s just me but no they?ve spit it out and have said it?s beyond salty. I threw out my bowl and I?ve learned my lesson. Idk who?s in charge of making the rice and chicken but please go easy on the salt! Absolutely disgusting. I will stick to the other locations and avoid this one at all cost.
