The Poboy came with sausage that had an unpleasant taste and it was not served as described on the menu. At that point, the service was in a downward spiral. But could have been redeemed had they not taken a hand full of salt and thrown it all over the french fries. The presentation of the french fries was mouthwatering but you could not swallow them for the salt.
So I’m 49 years old, and I’ve never actually left an online restaurant review. But after eating at Mr C’s yesterday, I haven’t stopped thinking about it! So my experience starts when I’m in line to order. I picked the wings and the Fruity Pebbles waffles. This guy behind me with 2 mismatched socks taps me on the shoulder and says “You should try the waffles by themselves first. They’ll change your life.” So I laughed and said ok, if you say so. Holy mother was he right. I travel for business, and I’ve had every waffle ever made,…or so I thought! Mr C’s waffles were full of flavor, light and soft, but with a golden and subtle crispy crunch. A little drizzled syrup and off I went into shock. I told my family we’re all going this weekend! I’m not sure what they did or how they made them, but I highly recommend this place! The wings were outstanding as well, but I only had 2 of the 6. That’s because I ordered seconds of the waffles! Thanks Mr C’s!
There was a mix up, and I got someone 's else 's order, and didn 't realize until I got home. But, I probably would have never ordered the fried catfish, and missed out on how delicious it was.Hopefully the mistake was caught, I 'm guessing whomever got/would have got my Stupid Hot wings won 't be as happy with the mix up as I was.I feel bad, the lady that took my order said she had to go make the sauce, hope someone enjoyed the wings.I 'll be back sooner than later to try the wings. And I 'll confirm I leave with the right thing. The employee that gave me the food was very soft spoken, I guess I thought I heard was I was expecting to hear.
First impression, I wanted to dine in but they gave a warning we have to be quick, which I didn't understand. The whole atmosphere was off, uncomfortable, and the employee at the time didn't seem friendly. The food, it wasn't my favorite way I liked wings to be cooked. I prefer fried, but to be honest, it was the best baked wings I've ever had. The sauce was amazing, finger licking good! The waffles were okay, too thick, cakey? Hard to explain but it was good nonetheless. It was just the feel of the place that was off-putting. Felt like we weren't welcome to stay, but the food was ? would come back for the wings.
So I finally found my go to place for wings in the valley. I travel a lot out of state and in state. With that being said I eat out a lot and have had great wings and terrible wings throughout the U.S. So I'll start with the pros and then the few cons/opportunities they could improve. Pros are great customer service, quick turn around, affordable prices, and delicious food. The cons/opportunities I would say is parking lot location (you'll pass it and then have to park by mattress store) and dine in area not set up yet for big groups. Alright now time for the deep dive. I got the 6pc Buffalo wings with fries and let me tell you those wings are finger licking good. The fries need a tad bit more salt but with them dipped into the wing sauce is just sensational. I literally came here 2 days in a row to confirm that I indeed tasted delicious food. If you like medium heat on ur wings then get the regular Buffalo and be ready for the heat on the back end. Football games or whenever I'm craving wings I'll be right back?.
