Harkers Hollow - Phillipsburg

We were uncertain about what to expect since it was our first visit to this restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised. They had a lovely Valentine’s Day menu, and the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly, even though they were quite busy. We would definitely return.

The decor was unremarkable, resembling a lackluster country club atmosphere. Our food arrived quickly, which is to be expected since we were the only table. The burgers were good, but the pierogies were disappointing; they were deep-fried instead of sautéed, and served with a green sauce rather than the traditional accompaniment. The butternut squash ravioli was only okay, according to my son. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, though I have to commend the waitress for her great service.

It's a pity that the food didn't live up to the potential, as we could really use some nice restaurants in this area."

We were the only people in the restaurant on Black Friday night. The server was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The menu was a problem that several of the items were not available. In addition, some couples listed on their website menu are no longer available. This led to disappointment for my son as he was looking forward to a few articles and is no longer on the menu in the restaurant. You need to update. Basic decoration, nothing special, like a weak country club. The food quickly arrived as it should if we were the only table. Burgers were good, Pierogies were disappointing as they were deep-fried, not plucked and served with green onions and not the traditional sauteed onions. Raviolis, buttery pig, my son was very fair. overall disappointing, but the waitress was great.
