Zeke's Bbq - Philadelphia

The first time we dined at this restaurant on a Tuesday was amazing, and the bartender who served us was incredibly friendly. My partner and I decided to dine here again tonight. However, the second time for takeout could have been better. I had to wait 10 minutes before my order was ready, causing the rest of the food to get cold while I waited. I even didn't receive utensils or napkins, which was surprising. The brisket cheesesteak and fat sandwich were delicious, but the shells and cheese were disappointing. They had a sticky consistency, so I would recommend skipping them. The staff was friendly again, but maybe it was just an off night. It happens to the best of us. We'll give it another try during the week and see how it compares to the weekend.

I recently tried one of the new food trucks in town. I ordered the rubber bear, which was visually appealing and had an interesting texture. It was a chicken soup with kebalsa, andouille sausages, and a few shrimps. The flavor was good, but I found the portion size for $12 to be too small. I also ordered a side of pommes, which was not cooked correctly. Overall, I paid $16 for the gumbo and pommes, and was disappointed to find some of the pommes were hard and undercooked.

I recently discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant and had an amazing dining experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, but the must-try item was definitely the loaded fries with brisket and cheese. The wings were also delicious.

I finally came here to eat! I didn't know it was 11 minutes from where I live. I stopped eating meat in the last summer, but I was so pleasantly surprised to find a vegan sloppy joe on the menu, and some salads that sound awesome. that sandwich was not disappointed. I also had tasty bierkäsekeile and holy god the nilla wafer banana pudding. I could eat that for every one. our server was great, and the carvings at the table have all swung around the ribs. I'll be back in a moment. this place is just great and everyone with whom I interacted was super nice. I have to confess that I don't have to try out the food because I was just here to deliver wein, but I really want it. my friend was and said it was really good. but I can speak for the clean, spacious bathroom, the inviting dining room and the personal and how amazing everything smells and looks!

Philly at its finest. Deke is a great guy and brews up some killer barbecue! A must visit if you're ever in town. The brewery next door is good too. But Deke is the OG here.-NoNonsenseKnowHow
