Contribuiți la feedbackI want to start by saying that the food at this restaurant is good and the staff are friendly. My wife and I used to go there for breakfast at least once a week, but unfortunately, we have stopped giving them our business. We always used to get coffee and water with our breakfast, and I would ask for a large cup of water without any issues. However, during my recent visit, the staff informed me that they were unable to provide large waters anymore due to rising costs. While I understand the situation, it seemed unreasonable to me. As loyal customers who have supported the restaurant weekly, even during the difficult times of the pandemic, it felt insulting to be worried about a small price increase. I even spoke to the owner's wife, who consulted with her husband Steve and it was still not allowed. They even brought me a tiny cup of water instead. We used to have great things to say about this restaurant, but there are plenty of other breakfast places nearby. We will miss the personal touch, especially from Allison who always brightened our day. Please don't get me wrong, the food is good and the staff are great, but as a loyal customer during these challenging times, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope this can be resolved, but if not, that's okay. I'll save on gas money, which is what really started to become unreasonable.
I had another fantastic experience at Steve's. The ambiance was laid-back, the service was excellent, and most importantly, the food was delicious at a reasonable price.
Wow! Corned beef! Pickled green tomatoes! The newest Jewish rye bread! What's not to love?
This is an amazing throw into the northeastern Jewish quarter of the 1970s. wow! it has both western European and eastern Jewish delicacies. everything is fresh and perfect. they even make their own flesh, like maisbeef. it's amazing! I have to try!
First time there with my dad today. The place was filled with people...either sitting down eating at the back diner...or ordering from the GREAT deli and/or bakery with fresh breads, cookies, apple cakes, and dounuts. I really really enjoyed being there. It was very welcoming environment with the workers smiling and looking like they like their jobs (which is refreshing to see in today's world where our working class people gets treated like trash..while the unemployed get paid more and more). I picked up a turkey hoagie and some cookies and apple cake. I can't wait to try the hoagie as soon as I get home! Next time I go there, me and dad are going to eat there.
