Santucci's Pizza - Italian Market

They didn't know I had a reservation, but I came there when it opened, so there was a lot of seats.

That eat as excellent quality wise and I would be given him a higher score if it were not for the service aspekt of culinary experiences. we were a party of four and from any reason it took the staff almost 30 minutes to bring out the fourth escape. inconvenient. otherwise, a pleasant experience.

The French onion soup was a delicious way to warm up on a cold, snowy evening. The pizza had a unique twist, with the tomato sauce on top, but it tasted fantastic. My partner enjoyed the lobster ravioli special, which had perfectly cooked handmade pasta in a flavorful and well-balanced sauce. We were so caught up in the delicious food that we didn't even realize we forgot our leftovers, but it was no big deal for us!

This restaurant offers the best overall downtown Philadelphia pizza experience. It doesn't aim to be fancy, but it doesn't need to be. They have daily chalkboard specials, a good selection of delicious pastas, chicken dishes, and other Italian specialties, as well as the best rectangular thin-crust pizza in the city. The prices are fantastic and reservations are recommended during busy times.

We go to Santucci's quite often before/after sporting events in South Philly as well as special occasions. We've actually never tried anything else besides the pizza because it's so damn tasty. One of these days we'll have to order a pasta dish too.
