Knock Restaurant And Bar - Philadelphia

I used to frequent this restaurant often, but my last few visits were disappointing, especially the fish dish. Please, show the chef how to properly cook fish! The bread was also subpar. If they have ever been to a restaurant like Parc, they would know what good bread tastes like. The one shining dish on the menu, the main rib, was no longer available. I appreciate the inclusivity towards older LGBTQ+ individuals like myself, but it doesn't make up for the mediocre food quality.

I called to inform the manager, Howard, of our experience and he responded with extreme rudeness and was disrespectful throughout the conversation. He even hung up on me twice before shouting at me on the third call, which I recorded and reported to the authorities as it was highly unprofessional. I have never had such a horrible experience in my life, and my family owns a well-respected restaurant chain where we would never treat a customer in such a manner. This is not how a business should be run, the customer should always be valued and listened to, regardless of when the complaint is made. Howard laughed at me and said I had waited too long after our visit to raise the issue. I explained that I was trying to find the receipt, as most companies require an order number. It is clear that this guy is very inexperienced and needs to be reported for his unprofessional behavior. I am completely appalled by this experience. Lastly, this business is clearly biased towards women, as they are treated poorly and feel unwelcome. Do not waste your time here, as it appears only homosexual men are accepted at this establishment. Absolutely disgraceful!

The menu and food at this restaurant are average for American cuisine, but there is nothing exceptional about it. The decor is plain, with a dark wood finish. The menu offers a variety of options, but nothing stands out as unique. My fish was slightly overcooked. They only provide one roll of bread per person, and ours were stale (even though it was only 7:00 in the evening). The staff was polite, but I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

They have the best, chicken and honey scoring in the philadelphia area. I'll go when I'm in town. I can't wait to visit soon!

If you are looking for a great meal, try this place. The salmon was melt in your mouth good, and my flounder covered the plate and was also full of flavor. Don't skip dessert either! I had never had a slice of cake that large! The carrot cake was amazing.
