The falafel is perfectly seasoned and hearty, serving around four generously sized rounds with the platter. It also includes wonderfully smooth hummus, tabouli, a simple chopped salad, and pita bread. The combination of textures is just perfect! You can also try sides like za'atar fries, which are loaded with seasoning and have a crispy exterior and tender interior. The staff here are particularly friendly. There's one person at the register most of the time—I'm pretty sure their name is Hesham, based on my order tickets. Every visit, they're so welcoming and eager to help, whether it's answering questions from anyone in line or assisting lost tourists. While RTM can be quite hectic for both staff and visitors, Kamal's always treats my roommate and me with kindness. On one occasion, when I was there with my partner, I was enthusiastically sharing how much I love their food and the friendly staff, completely unaware that another team member—possibly someone from the back—was seated nearby. He graciously thanked me for my compliments, which was such a lovely gesture!

Expensive for what we got. We ordered a side of lamb gyro meat, one all vegetable Greek salad that consisted of iceberg, olives, feta, tomato, onion and cucumber, an order of fries and a platter that had salad, hummus, baba ganoush and 2 small falafels and our bill came to 49$ before our tip. We get better fresher more generous servings of middle eastern fare for fare less in NY
