Contribuiți la feedbackFantastic coffee shop. Good selection of pastries, all the usual suspects in terms of coffee and espresso drinks. The special today was rather unique though: a 'Pineapple Espresso '. Tasted like a pineapple-sweetened iced latte (delicious); light on calories but packed with flavor. The cinnamon bun was airy and flakey (so awesome). I 'll definitely be returning
High top seating on lower level. High top group seating and low top seating on upper level. Free WiFi. Considerate staff. $4.50 for a small hot mocha. The crowd seems to be college students and young professionals killing time on their laptops. They are a bit slow but in a good way. They craft your drink.
I only went to the one on Drexel campus on 32nd and Chestnut. I haven't tried the espresso in it's own, just the cappuccino and espresso macchiato. The coffee is sour like in most places in Philly. But the milk helps counter. It's a nice spot to have that quiet, chill cafe vibe to work on class work or meet up with people.
Love this place. Good atmosphere, great sort of nutty flavor in their beans, plus the seasonal offerings are always fantastic (I miss you Pumpkin Pie Latte) and they have Oat Milk! Never had a bad cup of Joe at Joe. They carry Dotties Donuts and other vegan treat options to if you are like me and dairy hates you. They're all sweet and delicious and go well with the coffee. Anyway to sum this up, it's always been a good experience when I go there to have espresso and do some work out of the house.
Stopped here to kill time before a business lunch. If the college scene isn't your thing steer clear, but the coffee is amazing so probably worth a visit even if you can't tolerate being around hippie college kids. I enjoyed my latte and the people watching!
