Han Dynasty - Philadelphia

I can't praise Han Dynasty in Manayunk enough. Firstly, the staff is exceptional; they are friendly, welcoming, and take the time to explain the menu items. The atmosphere is both modern and inviting. Most importantly, the food is outstanding. The balance of flavors is perfect, and they have truly mastered their flavor profiles. I highly recommend it!

Hiii there.... Being a European citizen, makes me look at Chinese food at a certain way... Most of the time is a lot and very basic. My fiance, who is a good and travel writer, suggested to pay Han a visit .... At my age, 57, eaten a lot , tasting different levels and active in kitchens for 30+years , I have to humbly bow my head and put them on a devided first place of Chinese food I ever had... Very, very nice.... well spiced, very nice prepared.... really woooooooooow... Loved it..... And being there with the love of my life made it complete.... This is life worth living... Thanks Han... Han dynasty is my favorite restaurant EVER since I tried it almost 10 years ago. I dined in at this location for the first time usually do take out or dine in at old city or cherry hill and I got Dan Dan noodles as one of our plates. They weren’t spicy at all so I asked for another order of Dan Dan noodles to go for later yes they are that good lol and asked for Extra Spicy, but I ate them tonight and they still had no spice : less spice than a regular order at other locations. still 5 stars though because this place is amazing! :

I’ve ordered takeout from here three times recently, and each time has been disappointing. The beef lo mein was served without any beef. The scallion pancakes were soggy. The chicken and veggies were drenched in grease, reminiscent of an oil spill. Overall, the quality of the food has declined significantly compared to my previous experiences. There are plenty of better options in the area.

The service is good, but the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. I first found Han Dynasty in the old city, where they offer a great happy hour and generous portions. However, I've ordered the Dan Dan Noodles from this location twice, and both times the amount of pork was severely lacking. With rising prices, I just paid $10 for a bowl of noodles with no meat. I would have been better off getting ramen down the street. It's really disappointing because I was thrilled to have one in my neighborhood after enjoying the other location.
