Golf Social - Philadelphia

Overall, I had a good time because of the group of friends I was with! However, the food took a really long time to arrive, and our waitress was hard to find. I went on a Sunday when they had parties going on during the day, but that didn’t bother me. We ordered drinks, but the waitress never came back, so we had to go to the bar to order ourselves. They also automatically added gratuity to our bill for just drinks, which was a bit annoying since there were only five of us. The hookah was great, but if you want to try this place, I’d recommend avoiding days when it’s "too busy." By the way, my cousin took so long to get her meal that she ended up finishing with two different waiters. It was frustrating!

I will never return to this restaurant. The service was absolutely terrible, and the food was just as bad. I've never encountered grits that were so dry; it was literally just a plate of crumbs with four unseasoned shrimp on top and soggy pepper. The waitress was completely unprofessional. I had to track down the manager myself after asking twice to speak to someone. We were told we had to pay for our drinks before receiving our food. Everything was just awful! Golf and Social has so much potential, but it falls short in every way, which is extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Omelette order was out, not my paprika got. chicken wings were well seasoned, but over cooked and hard. the chefs special seafood mac and cheese was trash: herd plate, miniature garnel and watered down pulver cheese. and the filled French toast is not filled, they only add cream cheese between two slices and load it $10 for a cheese sandwich. server was decent, but we received our food without utensils or salt and pepper shakers that are basis.

I made a reservation, but when I arrived, they made me wait an hour for a table and insisted I pay 650 just to sit down. The service was terrible, and everyone was rude. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It was the worst experience.

The only thing that wasn’t pleasant was the air quality. It was hot and my table barely felt any air.
