Gnocchi - Philadelphia

Four of us celebrated the birthday of a member of our party. we have been blown away from food as well as from service! will definitely come back...often!

Great neighboring byob with excellent in-house made gnocchi and pasta, friendly and fun personal. I'm never disappointed!

We took a party of four to Gnocchi for New Year’s Eve 2022. There were two large group groups of 20-25 people, which made for a lively scene in this small neighborhood restaurant. It also put a lot of stress on the kitchen and wait staff. The food was generally good, but despite the owner having promised to provide a vegetarian entree, they brought a plate of veal. When we pointed out the problem, the chef substituted a disappointing plate of salad and sautéed mushrooms. Even though we had confirmed our reservation by phone 3 times, the manager failed to inform us that the service was BYOB and cash only. Fortunately, we were able to scrounge up enough cash, and an adjacent table donated a bottle of wine. Crisis averted, but the restaurant could have done better.
