Franco's High Note Cafe - Philadelphia

Some of the best pizza comes out of South Philly, and Francoluigi you my friend are one of those establishments. At least that is how I feel about this spot. I mean you know they 've been on point since 1982, so you know they must be doing something right. Let 's get serious for a second folks, and when I say serious I am talking about their pizza. I have always had their traditional square pie, so to me that is always winning. Just picture that fresh homemade tomato sauce with their own seasoning added into it, gracefully covering that well baked pizza. That well baked in the oven pizza that is not too thick , not to thin, but just right. Then strategically layered with that fresh mozzarella over top capturing and holding in those flavors from that sauce and herbs. A square slice of heaven waiting for you to enjoy while leaving hints of that sauce on the sides of your mouth. A simple reminder letting you know you 've just enjoyed something special. An awesome experience my friends, simply awesome. Their tomato pie is also something of a marvel my friends. Perfectly constructed, with a satisfying crunch with every bite. We all know that crunch, and we all love how it sounds when we bite into it. I have only eaten in the dinning room once when I was a lot younger so, the whole dinning room experience I can 't really comment on. I remember eating their chicken parmigiana over a bed of linguine, while sitting in the corner part of the restaurant. I do remember it was delicious and I didn 't have to pay for it. So yes this was a win win for me. In all I truly enjoy Francoluigi and everything that goes with it. Get in there and enjoy an amazing meal my friends.

I stopped by for a quick bite after walking through Miracle on 13th street. There's limited amount of seating and when I asked if more seats were available, the cashier said no. However, upon reading reviews and looking at pics, they also have a dinning room.. Maybe I'll stop by to see what else they offer in there. I had the cheesesteak slice and it was amazinggg. There was cheese on top of the pizza but also cheese slattered underneath that as well. The pizza was cheesy and flavorful. Generous amount of meat. Also its a $10min to use your card. 2 slices and a soda would equal that.

Classic east coast pizza. Great flavor and toppings. Tried Cheese, pepperoni and cheeseteak all delicious

Sad this was one of my favorite pizza joints Now after a covid hiatus, pizza is back but only one small size for a whopping $19 bucks. No thanks, you're sadly going to lose a lot of long time customers.

This place is such a hidden gem. We had the fresh mozzarella and garlic knots and they were so so fresh and so so good!!! Then we had a cheese pizza and chicken parm. And omg! This might be the best cheese pizza I've had in Philly! The service for the most part was great except there was one young kid who seemed pretty miserable and was far from polite. The piano player and all the other servers were great though!
