Cry Baby Pasta - Philadelphia

One of the most fun whimsical dining experiences I've ever had. Unique recipes both in the bar and kitchen. A staff that obviously cares. I wish I lived here in Philly so I could eat here at least once a month.

Recommended for fresh pasta lovers. Make a reservation. Nice energetic ambiance, nice variety of wine and good cocktails and good election of pasta. The crab pasta was just a bit too al dente, sauce still tasty. Rigatoni was everyone's favorite and we treated ourselves to unique, fresh made strawberry ricotta ravioli as a shared entree. Italian salad, broccolini, meatballs (small) were good shares go start. Sadly, we didn't leave room for dessert, next time. Enjoy!

Great little place, food was amazing and the employees were friendly. Drinks were very good but I forgot to take a picture of the pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious. Two small things to note that I did not take off for because I didn't feel I should. One if you go there be prepared to show your vaccination card which wasn't explained to us when we made the reservation and two when we ordered one of the meals my daughter couldn't eat it cuz it was too spicy so we had to order her another meal and they did not take the first meal off the receipt. I did pay for both meals without a complaint because in theory it's not their fault.

The restaurant is adorable and the staff and food are amazing. Jennifer, our waitress, was super knowledgeable about the menu and KILLED it telling us about all of the amazing food that is available. I was dying to try everything on the menu by the time she was done. Jennifer is an absolute delight and whatever they're paying her should be doubled in the least. The cooks and bartender deserve plenty of credit too, the food was some of the best I've ever put in my mouth and when we left, unfortunately way too full for the incredible sounding dessert, I was already plotting and planning for my next trip back. I don't care if you've got a date, a family gathering, or you're just a human being who needs to occasionally consume food in order to live, this is one of the best places you can pick for it and I guarantee that you will not regret it.

Cry Baby Pasta had a variety of high-quality cocktail and food options. My friends and I ordered a variety of options and LOVED some and felt meh about others. The wait staff is friendly and offer honest recommendations. If you're ready for the price-point, definitely check this spot out!Food: 4/5
