Anthony's Italian Coffeehouse

The sandwiches are mediocre, but this place excels in pastries and is even better at brewing coffee.

I made a quick stop at the restaurant. Initially, I didn’t plan to buy anything since my brother-in-law was the one picking up some chocolates for my sister. However, I couldn’t resist the chocolate-dipped pretzels and macaroons, and I'm so glad I didn't! Both treats were absolutely delicious!

One of my favorite spots in Philly’s Little Italy is definitely worth a visit. Make sure to buy the Italian Market Reserve coffee—it's some of the best coffee you'll ever taste!

I was excited to come here, the coffee was okay, the service was alright. Maybe I didn’t order the right thing.

We visited Anthony's on a late fall afternoon to sample their famous gelato with a friend who's a gelato connoisseur. Collectively we inhaled 7 of their flavors. Lemoncello, Salted Caramel and Stracciatella were our favorites. It was impressive to watch the server pack 3 hefty scoops into 1 tiny cup without a drip. We ate at their small outdoor table. There is a cozy dining room if you want to eat in. Our friend enjoyed their gelato so much that she braved a rainstorm the next day to buy a sampler for a dinner party.
