Henry J. Bean's And Grill - Phetchaburi

I was reluctant to eat at a Western restaurant on my one night in Bangkok, but most places outside the hotel were closed due to a Buddhist holiday. Turns out they have a decent pad thai and Thai iced tea here, plus they had nice live music and friendly staff. The decor is a bit tacky, but I 'd happily come back here if I stay at the airport hotel again.

In general it is an American kind of restaurant where you come and drink beer, eat ribs and steak. Here is a much much better option to come when comparing to all the rip-off food stalls in the opposite Don Mueang Airport! The food here is not that great but a little above average. If you want to find the same kind of restaurant around here, this is the only one. Service is excellent! But but but be careful when ordering draught beer, Singha draught I ordered is a bit old and not crystal clear! The taste changed a bit. I asked the manager how long the Keg was opened, he said it was opened 4 days ago which means it is starting to get expired. Cleanliness in the beer tube was not great and the control of temperature was not perfect so the beer I got was starting to have strange taste.

Good food, good place, and very joyful live music. If you want to find a place where you can enjoy your life, Henry J. Bean's will not disappoint you. Staffs are friendly and polite.
