We were on the island for 2 days and ate our dinner both nights. Food was delicious. The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I can heartily recommend it to everyone. Again and again!

Don't go there be sure to read the newer reviews! This isn't the restaurant it used to be and doesn't deserve the good overall rating! Unfortunately, I was blinded by the very good overall rating and only read the latest reviews when we were already there and had ordered. All (very) good reviews are from 2020 and earlier. The last reviews are catastrophic and this was unfortunately confirmed during our visit: 1. Waited over an hour until the appetizer even came. 2. The chef went twice in between to get groceries, then the only waiter went shopping again longer. 3. We had a view of the kitchen, the chef kept looking at his tablet while he was cooking. We had the impression he read the recipes of the dishes. All of that wouldn't be bad. If the food had tasted good. Unfortunately that was not the case at all. The portions were puny, starter fried shrimp: 5 very small shrimp, that's it. Main courses a thin broth with a few vegetables and shrimp and a curry with chicken, although the chicken was not edible. And then expensive too! The only bright spot is the atmosphere. As a bar for one. It's quite nice, but no cocktails on offer. Definitely don't eat there!!! Very good food and large portions. they serve alcohol, 120 baht for a large chang. eating was amazing and the staff was very friendly. we tried the red curry with rice, huh fried pineapple and deep fried garnel. they have some sweet cats running around the restaurant.
