Texas Roadhouse - Pflugerville

Im not a big fan of chains but, TR is the exception. Ive been to severL locations and i can day the food, service and cleanliness is consistent. Went to my the Pflugerville location last evening. Greeted with a smile and hello! Waiter was training another guy, both were extremely pleasant and attentive, and the restaurant was very busy.we had tge 20 oz bone in rib. One rare the other medium rare they were PERFECTLY cooked and amazing! The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and tasty and their green beans, though soft , which i don't usually like, are so nicely seasoned i overlook it. And i have to say this property is exceptionally clean. Again, the waiter and co-waiter were exceptionally pleasant and hospitable.

Takeout customers get the old and burnt leftovers apparently... brown rolls were dry, hard and too hard to chew

This spot is always super consistently good, the steaks and country fried chicken always hit the spot and we haven't been dissapointed. I always get the house salad which is always delicious and a good way to break up all the other heavy food. The sweet potato and mashed potato sides are my go to, I love how sweet and caramelized the sweet potato gets. Docking one star because the wait time is always insanely long, and often when they text you to come in, you end up having to wait another 20/30 minutes. One time we went in and put our names down and waited 1.5 before we went in to check again (we showed up at 4 to beat the rush), and they said they didn't even have our names on the list. They said they would give us next priority seating, and then we ended up having to wait another 20/30 minutes and watched many people get seated before us.
