Contribuiți la feedbackHighly recommend this place for a chill, ambient, classy-ish vibe when you're in downtown. Delicious curated crafted cocktails that are consistently dished out like it was their true calling. Impeccable service! They will check on you often enough to not be annoying. Try out all of their drinks, ask questions and definitely order their charcuterie stuff. The mousse/pate was so freaken good too.
Great spot downtown for drinks with friends or coworkers. I've been to Roosevelt Room a few times in different settings (happy hour with coworkers, casual Saturday night drinks with friends), and it's always fun. The inside of Roosevelt Room is decently large, and they have a number of seating options, from booths for larger groups to high tops and bar seating for smaller tables. All the seating is roomy and comfortable, and even when they're packed, it's not unbearably crowded. They have a number of drink options on their menu, all of which are tasty and well made. We also did a few shots, which came in super fancy shot glasses complete with garnishes and were very reasonably priced. Roosevelt Room is a great spot for almost any location fancy but not stuffy, high quality but not price prohibitive.
Great place to grab a late night cocktail, has speak easy vibes. Only issue is I asked for a chocolate martini and the bartender basically said that's a dumb drink lol. He politely could have said they don't offer it. Outside of that awesome spot.
In Austin, was feeling some fancy cocktails and snacks one night. Decided to come to the RR and definitely happy we did. No reservation meant we had to sit in the upstairs bar, where the cocktail list is a bit smaller (though still significant). There was a bachelorette party when we went and it was very Texy, but overall the spot was dark, classy, diverse, with foreign films being silently screened on the wall. I love the bar's aesthetic--hip and classy but casual--and the extensive cocktail list includes a number of historical drinks through the ages as well as house creations. I opted for the Roosevelt Room Old Fashioned, which, with its branded ice cube, was a beautiful presentation. One of my companions opted for a dirty vodka martini; the other for the Cigar Box, which wins pretty much all cocktail presentation forevermore. All drinks were incredibly tasty, and the service was spectacular as well. Because we came for snacks, too, we...well, we went a little crazy. The sumac and pepper popcorn was my favorite. Perfectly popped with enough flavor to keep me coming back for more. I love popcorn. We also ordered the sweet spicy nuts, which were, unsurprisingly, delicious. The seasonal pickle plate was another winner for me. If you pickle it, I will eat it. More traditional pickled veg (think sweet peppers, beets, etc) plated up next to pickled strawberries and blackberries--genius. Loved this as well. We also ordered the potato pancakes, which were good, but not my favorite dish here. Lastly, we got the salade verte, which I really enjoyed--but a word to the wise: the shallot in this sucker is going to make your breath horrible. All in all, this was a great spot to experience. If I lived in Austin, I don't think I would come by often, but it's definitely a great locale for when you're feeling fancy drinks in a fun, casually classy environment.
Pickled fruit?! So good! Great spot to stop after a Paramount comedy show, just a short walk away. Our server was a delight and he gave us great advice and guidance on the extensive menu. We ordered the Corpse Reviver, the Silver Meadows, and the Tipperary and the pickled fruit to share. The time, attention, and love taken to making each drink is what makes this place stand out from other upscale cocktail bars in this area. Absolutely love the dark, sexy vibe. Reminded me of one of my favorite bars in NYC. We sat at the counter in the front and were able to people watch on a busy Saturday night. Left very impressed overall and will be back!
