3/6 - Pézenas

Couldn’t agree more with other reviewers though this local café doesn’t look particularly impressive from the outside, it is a real treasure. Tucked around the corner from the many cafés lining up along the main street to attract the tourists, this place is worth the detour. Set in a very pretty street and full of locals (always a good sign in France! , the food (we had salads , drink (wonderfully cold on a hot day service were all great and prices very affordable you can count on subtracting a few euros for each dish compared with main street prices. We spent a very happy couple of hours here and were very glad we could.

We visited for lunch on a very hot day, friendly staff (one) cold drinks (2) a reasonable menu of grills, pasta, salads etc. Our own food was very good and what we saw going elsewhere looked equally appetizing. If visiting do not expect haut cuisine, but we found a very acceptable meal, for an equally acceptable price in a good people watching position. If in Pezenas we would certainly go again.

It is a simple looking brasserie but the food was delicious and staff very friendly. Don't be put off by appearances, would recommend a visit.

We popped in here for a couple of beers on our stroll round Pezenas and found the service and the local clientele to be most agreeable. If we'd been staying longer, I suspect this would have been our regular pub of choice. Simple enjoyment.

Nice little cafe/restaurant. Unpretentious and accommodating. Simple food, prepared well. Lovely pizza, pasta and salads. We've been coming here over several years and always good food although the toilet not wonderful! Always busy on a Saturday during the market And Friday evenings when there's often music. Worth booking then. Closed Monday I think.
