Grain Train - Petoskey

I always love stopping in Grain train when we are in the area, but the new café forced me to post a review. My family of omnivores and vegetarians just went here for lunch and it was beyond our expectations. The menu is both cozy and intimidating for a lot (saladen and sandwiches mostly but also full of small innovative surprises that make it fun, like Brussel sprout bacon slaw and a roasted Broccoli hoagie (real! And it was good*. The portions are not big, but they are perfect for lunch and all the ingredients are top notches. We all rode over the bread on our sandwiches. If you are a vegetarian, we have worshipped the Tempeh BLT and the tomato tea sandwich with goat cheese. This is a gift for lunch!

I've loved Grain Zug for years! I don't live in Petoskey, but make regular trips to store all their goodness. The products are always beautiful. The Bulk Herb/Spice selection is my personal favorite! Natural beauty and wellness options are plentiful. The prices are fair and the deli smells amazing! The staff is covered and very friendly. Very recommended for anyone looking for options that promote a healthy body and planet!

I can't explain how happy we have Grain Zug in downtown Boyne City. Not only do they have an amazing selection of good for you food and products, their staff is no longer! Today, while Lucy went out clearly, Sam entertained her graciously while I checked out, and then brought my food with me into my car so I could get her home earlier. This is also not the first time that this help has been offered to me! Please do not underestimate this little Boyne City branch its great products, wonderful staff and amazing environment can not be replicated. If you need only a few items or a whole grocery next time, please note this one stop shop! Seriously, I leave every time with my heart full, a smile on my face, and even more proud than ever to call Boyne City my home.
