Sankofa Kitchen - Petersburg

Great eating and always very welcoming mood. if they love goat, try it African style with cabbage/rice. it is made with a red sauce. also, not on the menu, so they have to ask for it. Ask for: African goat with cauliflower and I will thank them.

Yesterday was our first time trying Sankofa Kitchen. We ordered Egusi Stew w/ chicken, whole fish w/ jollof rice, plantains, oxtails, cornbread, and fufu. Loved the food! Very well seasoned delicious ?. Exceeded our expectations. I will definitely be going back for more ?? The staff was great! Very welcoming, pleasant, and helpful.

Food was absolutely delicious! Warm, comforting, and flavorful. Atmosphere was cute and cozy. Will be going back!

I was so excited to try west African cuisine for the first time. The older woman that was there was so rude. Food was ok but she made me and my wife feel very uncomfortable. Would not go back

My first time to try African food, and I must say it was very good I had fufu and egusi stew and I will go back to try the light onepot and ochs tail there was only one 4 because the sizes on the small side for the price
