Don Quixote Mexican Grill - Petersburg

I travel a lot for a living. And i'd have to say I've been all up-and-down of the state of Virginia and this is the only Mexican restaurant that I found that has good food. ? Steak Fajitas!!! ?

I'm picky and my wife has been a server for over 20 years and knows the ins and outs of restaurants. What started as one visit has turned that place into our every other week dinner plans. The owners and everyone that works there is exceptional. The food? I haven't tried everything on the menu but everything that I have tried on the menu is top notch delicious. Oh and by the way I don't do reviews but that's how good this place is when it popped up on my phone I just had to take the time and do this. I hope if anyone reads this and tries this restaurant I truly hope your experiences is wonderful as ours is every time we go there.

We were in town for work and craving Mexican so Google brought us here. It's a little rough looking from outside but inside there was the usual warm authentic Mexican feel with great service and amazing food! Definitely a diamond in the rough!

I recently had the opportunity to try this place for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the service was and how good the food was. My order wasn't quite correct but I tried it anyway and really liked it. I would recommend this place and plan on going back when I am in the area the next time.
