The Whistle Stop Cafe - Peterborough

I was so excited not only to experience poutin for the first time, but also to be able to actually have it and not worry about my milk allergy. the owner is very friendly and seems to really enjoy their caffe. I ate here twice (the...Frühwurst burrito is also delish) and would have eaten there more (to try more of their options) I had longer in the city.

There were only two commands of taco poutine of skip the dishes. they had a good call in the way, but tonight the building left. the fries were strongly underboiled and tasted as if they had been heated in a microwave oven. the textur was the frit cooked by...on under cooked frozen and the taste was not present except for fresh wobble. I've ever had hands down from this badge!

My friends and I just ordered skip from here and it was very disappointing. Instead of the chocolate and vanilla ice cream that was ordered with it, we all received strawberry ice cream. One of us ordered just the dessert fries and it was actually...hilarious how many he actually ended up with. Things were asked to be on the side and everything was still just piled into the one container. literally $46.67 of disappointment.

Their number six, vegetable Deluxe, small is what we shoot for here. The fries were not crispy this time. Still it's with a stop here if in Peterborough.

I got the Philly cheesesteak poutine. The steak is chewy and bland. The fries some tasted 1/2 cooked, some were soggy as hell. No happy medium. Does anyone at this place know how to cook fries? Give them a little crisp, and they will be...perfect. I’m not sure if I’ll go back again, 2 strikes, I think you may be out, but if you learn to cook fresh cut fries, maybe.
