Southside Pizzeria & Co - Peterborough

Yummy!. We love the food here! The pizza at Southside tastes just like the stuff we get at our fave restaurant back home. Everything tastes and is homemade! My husband usually drops in to pick up and says the owner usually seems cranky and that the guy who works weekends is usually too busy talking to his girlfriend to help anyone but the food is great. Guess the service isn't!

I love a well made panzerotti and I love a well made Greek saladI am also quite fond of a well made burger.

I took my out of town visitors there for dinner after hearing their ads all over the local radio station. I must say, the dated decor and cleanliness left much to be desired. If you aren't going to update your decor then at least clean your restaurant. It wasn't busy and all five of us placed our orders. Three of the orders came at the same time, one more followed about three or four minutes later and the final one, which was for a four year old child appeared after the rest of us had finished eating.The server's excuse was that she asked the cook to turn up the heat on the oven so the small cheese only pizza would cook faster - she should have told the truth that they actually forgot the order!! How disappointing to have a hungry four year old wait for her food until after everyone had eaten (she did take a small bite of my pizza but wanted her own order). The server offered to make her a taco but she wanted her cheese pizza (she ate one slice and we took the rest home).To top it off, no discount was offered for the obvious error and the total bill was close to $100.Fool me once but not twice....I'll never be back and will never recommend it either. Too many other great places in Peterborough to have pizza.
