Contribuiți la feedbackI often find that they make mistakes with my orders, missing ingredients like sugar in my iced coffee and cream cheese in my bagel. Their app is not very reliable and has caused me to lose my appetite. I appreciate the free coffee offer for loyal customers, but perhaps they should use it to reward their staff instead, who may be overworked and hungry. It's frustrating to have to double check my order every time I stop in for a quick coffee or snack. It seems like they are always in a rush during busy hours, making it difficult to correct any mistakes. When I mentioned my experience to a friend, she suggested that if I don't like the service, I should just avoid going there. It's a shame that the coffee industry may be contributing to my confidence issues when it comes to food and health. As a Canadian, I value good service and quality products, but it seems like these expectations are not always met here.
I started with the gravlax, which was delicious and beautifully presented with a fennel and orange salad and homemade potato chips. The warm homemade bread and whipped butter served in baskets were a nice touch. For my main course, I ordered the steak frites cooked medium rare, and it was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. The steak was so tender that we didn't even need steak knives. It was served with fig jam, béarnaise sauce, and thyme-seasoned fries. The portion sizes were generous, so I didn't have room for dessert, but my friends enjoyed their desserts. The restaurant offers a selection of wines and specialty coffees. The meals are prepared by culinary students who also serve as servers. We were given a tour of the immaculate kitchen and treated to a tasty sample. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant, and I highly recommend it. They are open for dinner on Wednesday evenings and for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Shitty, the first time I ate there sure it was ok, but time after time each experience has gotten worse and yup you guessed it, worse.
I think this restaurant is owned by the same people as Chili and Agave. The food and service are amazing. I will definitely come back.
Went to Fulford's for lunch today with 11 friends. We a very friendly welcome at the door where our coats were taken and hung up for us. Our servers introduced themselves, one for each side of the table. They were extremely attentive and very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome!!! You could combine your entrée with an appetizer or a dessert for $16 or you could have all three courses for $20. Entrees range in price from $11 to $14. I started with Gravlox which was cured Arctic char with fennel and orange salad with homemade potato chips on the side. Delicious and an excellent presentation. Plenty of warm homemade bread was served in baskets along with herbed butter. For my entrée I selected Steak Frites. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection and one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. We didn't even need to have steak knives because the steak was so tender. It was served with shallot jam, béarnaise sauce and thyme scented fries. The portions were very generous so I didn't have dessert but those who did were extremely pleased with them. They have a wine list and specialty coffees.Everything is made from scratch in house by the culinary students who also take turns as servers etc. We were given a tour of their kitchen which was spotless and an added treat for us.I will definitely be going back here as I am sure my friends will and I highly recommend it. They are open for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays and dinner on Wednesday evenings.
