Capra Toro Peterborough

The Margarita Pizza I had was nothing like a margarita pizza. They even sprinkled parmesan cheese on top which is not listed on the menu. I would have asked for them to leave it off if I had known. There was no Buffalo mozzarella slices on it that were visible. There was hardly any tomato sauce. The crust was very tough to cut as well. I do not think it was cooked in a wood oven.My friend had pasta with sausage. He said the peppers were undercooked and there was nothing special about the pasta. It did not come with any bread with olive oil for dipping. It was very overpriced.On a positive note the setting is nice and the servers were kind and helpful.We found the prices charge there were like what you would pay in Toronto at a higher end restaurant for many items. I'm sure they have some good things on the menu. We didn't pick those

Nice Italian joint. Nice menu centered around the pizza oven. For example our Bruschetta was almost pizza like as it was one large pizzaish crust with sweet toppings. The Fungi Della Vita was a pasta that was so creamy and smooth it reminded me of a Risotto. Nice atmosphere and our server was very good. Recommended.

Food was pretty good. Tried a few dishes with friends. Service was ok, we asked for water about 5 times. Atmosphere was alright, we were the only ones there...

Love it, amazing pizza. That crust is something else! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, back patio is fun in the summer.
