Berc's Steakhouse - Peterborough

The staff at Berc's is very attentive and wonderfully accommodating. The food was outstanding and the portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend visiting Berc's. Their cheesecake was one of the best I have ever had.

I usually enjoy the food at Berc's, but I was disappointed with my experience last night. The Calamari appetizer was good, but slightly overcooked. The French onion soup was lukewarm and although it tasted good, it was not served hot. My Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare, but the button mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes were extremely salty. The bearnaise sauce was also very thick and salty. The service, however, was excellent and our waiter was very professional. I didn't want to send any food back as we were with a large group. Overall, the food was disappointing considering the price. I had higher expectations based on previous visits. The other members of our group had similar comments after we left. I am unsure if I will return in the future.

Excellent. We went there for our 49th anniversary and were very happy with everything. Our waitress (Heather) was amazing, the food very good and atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend it. We had the bacon wrapped filet mignon from the special dinner menu, yummy.

The tomato Parmesan soup was lovely, and our server Heather did a fantastic job. The steak was fine, but my husband wasn’t overly impressed by it as it came more medium than medium-rare. He was a little disappointed, since steak is their speciality. I got the chicken yakatori and was pleased with it. They also gave us some dessert as an extra since we were celebrating, which was a very thoughtful touch! It’s a lovely atmosphere and the servers were very attentive.

Awesome Food! much better than the Keg! came here several times and never disappointed! Great service as always!
