Jimmy Guaco's Border Town Burritos

We stayed in peterborough for lunch during a road trip and did not want to spend too much time in a sit-down restaurant. we have made a park before this place and decided to try it. I had the sweet kartoffel burrito and it was delicious! the size small was more than enough than they stuffed it full. everything is made to order, subway style, so they get to choose their fillings (viten von veg options) and give them no cheese. there are several salsas to choose from and really good guac! they also had a falafel option that looked good.

Terrible experience at this restaurant, which I am not surprised to see that it is now closed. The burritos were disgusting and I will not miss this place. My favorite spot for burritos is Dante's on Simcoe Street, located across from the Peterborough Bus Terminal. I absolutely love Dante's burritos and their advertisement poster in the front window.

I understand that times are challenging with shortages of food and staff, but when you place an order and prepay because you are at work and cannot leave, you expect to receive what you paid for. Unfortunately, we did not receive our order from Jimmy Guaco's, and when we called to inquire, the person on the phone was rude, ignorant, and hung up on us for no reason. There is absolutely no justification for this kind of behavior. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Honestly three and a half, for Peterborough four and a half stars, they need a bigger large and more lighting in the store. But delicious burritos I must say.

The only extra was some guacamole. Makes zero sense other than a rip off pricing.Avoid the hurt wallet and go elsewhere.
