Contribuiți la feedbackFirst time at this location and the last. The quarter chicken was the size of a swallow, dry as leather and the portion size was for a child, not a grown man. With COFIB, restaurants are trying to make up for lost sales. Now you get way less for way more. Staff was friendly and courteous but the food, never again.
We stopped in for a quick bite before leaving the area. Pleasantly surprized. Counter service only, but the worker delivered our meal while we drank our coffee (strong, but very good! food was as good as in a full service Swiss Chalet restaurant. Located on Pembroke Street and Blakey
Swiss Chalet is my favourite restaurant and while visiting this location I became very disappointed. A flyer for 2 can dine for $15.99 caught my attention which triggered my enthusiasm to place an order online for pickup. Once at the cash to settle my bill it was twice as much as advertised so I questioned the cashier. She explained there was an upgrade fee for white meat on one order plus we had a dessert that was $5.99. Doing quick math in my head I stated it must be the tax man. Once I paid my bill and reviewed the receipt, I brought to the cashiers attention that I was charged $10.99 for each meal and did not see any discount for the deal. She placed her finger on her lips while reviewing my receipt and said “hmmmm I don’t know” then proceeded to hand me my order. I paused and looked at her and asked if she was going to fix it, the sign clearly states 2 can dine for $15.99 above the cash with what I had ordered and includes takeout. She looked dumbfounded that I would make such a request for them to honour their ad and not just take my food and leave. Finally she asked if I would like to speak to the manager, I replied yes please. I proceeded to explain myself to the manager. Her reply was that it was because we ordered online. I then asked if we could cancel it then reorder. Nope, can’t do that because it came from the call center and I would have to call head office. So I proceeded to call head office while still at the counter. The lady on the phone kindly looked into the matter and turns out that the offer doesn’t start until the next day. That made sense as to why I didn’t receive the ad price, thank you very much. After hanging up the phone, I explained to the manager that the offer starts tomorrow just so you know. I then took my order and left politely yet perturbed about how I had to do the managers job for her! So glad I could be of assistance! Appropriate customer service would be firstly, knowing your offers and secondly, if something’s not right, look into it yourself, not your customer! Once arriving at my overnight destination, excited for my meal, I then was disappointed again. The Caesar salad came with no dressing and the lettuce was disgustingly brown...into the garbage it went! Very dissapointed!!
Greeted by the very friendly and attentive manager Katherine. Burgers were made to order fast and with fresh toppings. Burgers, fries, and onion rings were delicious and hot.
Absolutely amazing in petawawa, it's clean, staff is awesome and there is stuff in the condiment bins! Holy karumba. Unlike pembroke, emplty bins, every table is dirty and always out of product.
