Roy's Chicago Doggery - Petaluma

A taste of home, complete with great hot dogs and beef. We lived in the Chicago Area all our lives (16 months ago), so it was good to find a place that got it right. It was a long, long ride from East Bay, but we made it a day. Of course, this place was worth it, and we're coming back.

I'm here a few times now and come very out of the way to share the delicacies that are Roys Chicago Hot Dogs. As Chicago's locals, this is the place to go for an authentic Chicago experience. It feels like I'm going into a small hole in the wall of Maxwell St during the day. The blues flow and the food is amazing!

Not much to see, but friendly owners and employees, great hot dogs and the blues. I love this place

The dogs are legit. The Friday night ribs are amazing. Music and vibe is here. Staff and owners are good people. You should make this a regular stop if you are local and don't miss it when you just go through. My lunch is a chili dog, no bread on a frying basket, no onions. Alternative choice is a pineapple polishing basket with grilled onions.

Growing up in NW Indiana I got lucky to enjoy the great food Chicago is famous for. By far this place is in one of the top places to get a Chicago style dog outside of Chicago.
