Dempsey's - Petaluma

If you're searching for a fantastic place to eat outdoors on a beautiful day, you should definitely check out Dempsey's. The onion rings and sausage pizza are really delicious!

THE SERVICE: The service was just as bad as the food. The waitress was inattentive and seemed annoyed when we asked for refills on our drinks. She never checked back to see how our meals were, and we had to flag her down just to get the bill. THE ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere was not much better. The restaurant was dirty and cramped, with very little space between tables. The noise level was so high that it was hard to have a conversation without shouting. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was awful, the service was lackluster, and the atmosphere was unpleasant. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for a meal.

The sign outside claims it is the oldest brewery in Sonoma County, but the interior feels a bit outdated. It could use a fresh coat of paint and some renovations.
