Contribuiți la feedbackAfter living in Japan for 10 years, half of that time before becoming vegan, I consider myself a knowledgeable critic of Japanese cuisine. In comparison to Supe, Shiang Hai's sushi (specifically maki and Californian rolls) are more elaborate in their flavors and presentation. This is a good thing for the most part, as the taste is what you would expect from maki or a Californian roll. I only tried the avocado roll, but I am excited to explore other options as well. The mushroom curry I also tried was delicious. Overall, I had a very positive experience and plan to return in the future. On the downside, the service could be warmer and the menu, like many vegetarian restaurants in KL, could benefit from clearly labeling the vegan options.
I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed to find out they no longer offer Steamboat. Instead, they now focus mainly on Chinese cuisine with a variety of sushi dishes. The food was delicious and the presentation was impressive. I highly recommend trying their Taiwanese Style Tomato Noodles (the owner is from Taiwan), their Home-made Zhai Er, and their sushi. Overall, I had a great experience dining here!
This is one of my favorite places to eat near Sunway Lagoon. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and flavors, including various types of sushi that are delicious. They also offer mock meat and a variety of other dishes. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place.
After having lived in japan for 10 years, the half of this time before my vegan transition, I would describe myself as a decent judge of quality when it comes to Japanese food. in comparison to supe are shiang hais sushi (maki and Californian roll to be exact) not easy in their dress and taste. on a good wise, for the greatest part: taste is quite what they would expect from a maki or Californian roll. I just tried the avocado roll, but I look forward to having the other options too. on the sushi I tried the fungal curry, it was very nice. overall a very positive experience. I'll go back someday. on the negative side, service could be warmer, and the menu, as in most vegetarian restaurants in kl, would very benefit from clear labeling the vegan options.
