Catfish Corner Express - Petal

Have eaten here several times. My visit yesterday was not up to standards. The filets were very small very overcooked...to the point where half of the filets didn't seem to contain any fish.I had hushpuppies yesterday also which were wonderful along with their great coleslaw.I do hope that this was a fluke bc I've always enjoyed the food there.

The catfish was good!! The service was also fast the workers were very sweet!

Oh holy fried goodness, Batman! Now I understand why that corner is impassable in the evenings they are open. Order before you go! It helps the line move faster, but it's worth waiting in that line. The fried fish is incredible. The hush puppies....I could live on those hush puppies alone! And the best coleslaw....yummy. Those ladies can fry up some incredible yummy goodness. Even the french fries are totally delicious, AND I DON'T REALLY LIKE FRIES.If they ever opened up a bigger restaurant, I'd give up cooking altogether!

Catfish Corner Express has the best catfish, fries, hushpuppies and cole slaw, in this area. I thoroughly enjoyed my supper tonight !
