Hotel de France Vieille Freres - Pesmes

For us this is the perfect place to stop, only halfway to the alps. the accommodation is quiet with good parking and a very traditional French breakfast. the restaurant, about 200 meters away, is very good and we had one of our most beautiful meals we visited in December. we are back in about 10 and are very happy to visit again.

The rooms are located in a separate building, but were comfortable when a bit upgrade and a few more towels required; lots of parking space and a beautiful garden. the evening meal in the main building was good and very plentiful with one. selection of traditional dressed and good weeping. it was an excellent value for money.

We stayed over in the hotel and ate in the restaurant on our way to the Alps. The room was very comfortable. The accommodation is in a quiet separate building a short walk away, where breakfast is taken. The food is reliable rustic cuisine, which...we enjoy. We are always made to feel very welcome.

We 've been staying here and dining in the restaurant on and off for 25 years. It is always reliable and great value. Possibly the best cheeseboard ever seen! Nothing fancy but well prepared and tasty food at a very fair price. You 'll need your 'O '...Level/GCSE French here! Delightful small town of Pesmes. Dole 20 mins away is worth a visit and heading east towards the Jura takes one through some beautiful unspoilt countryside.

WE stopped in Pesmes to enjoy the views from the bridge as well as the from the town above the river. This village is a bit off the well travelled track but well worth the time. The Hotel is nice but the main attraction is...the feeling that the village and the lzay river wandering by exude,
