C House Cafe Peschiera Del Garda

This review is for the accommodation C House Lake Rooms, which the restaurant owns. Outside of the accommodation, Peschiera del Garda is a lovely area. To begin, the host Alessandro sent a complex ten-page document of how to enter the building. It was like an escape room instead of a relaxing trip. We were surprised that the booking is only a room with a built-in box bathroom, like a unit. The kitchen and lounge pictured aren’t included. The fridge is off before you enter so doesn't work for hours. The host refused to accommodate but didn’t say this was because none of the rooms include a kitchen or lounge. The host used this to promote his ground-floor restaurant, but we preferred others in the area. The room had no heating, so we were freezing. The host denied there was a problem. There was mould by the entrance. The promised lake view was obscured by frosted balcony glass. Overall, we didn’t get what we expected with this property or a warm reception from the host. Alessandro was not honest nor solutions-focused when we tried to speak to him, so we don’t think it’s right to recommend this booking. We wish we’d chosen a more welcoming place.

Quiet canal side setting with tranquil views away from main tourist area. Staff friendly and good service levels. One of best cafe bar in town.

We’ve drink a lot of Aperol in a lot of bars while we’ve been in Italy, and mist give you a few crisps at least… But this friendly cafe, on the edge of a great square for people watching, definitely win the prize for best bar snacks ever. Crisis, peanuts AND three delicious savoury pastries each

This cafe is definitely worth your visit! The servants speak English very well. The drinks are not expensive and you get some snacks for free.
