We came across this gem while trying to find another well reviewed restaurant in the area for dinner. We decided to go here because the other place was closed for the holiday. I am so happy we did! The food was homemade and delicious. Although no English was spoken, we managed to understand each other quite well. The kids, including the 11 month old, loved the pasta and cleaned their plates. My husband and I devoured our pastas, our salads and our meats (I had a pork chop, he had chicken breast). We enjoyed it so much that we went back for lunch the next day. Lunch was quite possibly better than dinner. We had handmade pasta again, followed by Arrosticini (I think that's what it was called basically tender beef on a stick). AMAZING! I wish we could have gone a third time, but we were leaving the next morning. It was the best priced, sit down meal that we had in Pescara. I cannot say enough great things about the place. Oh, and on the second day that were there, they brought out bread drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. Quite possibly one of the most delicious part of the meal.
Stylish cooking, perfect execution, affordable, courteous staff
People come here to spend little and enjoy their informal atmosphere. Very informal. Don't expect who knows what wine card or something.
We spent the New Year's Eve dinner and we could not find better! A cuisine with ancient flavors that is not easy to find today. Very friendly and helpful! Excellent choice to recommend! I would have given 10 stars if it was possible!!!
